This year’s Intramurals was a great and successful one. It
started in a sunny morning. In spite of the hotness of the sun, the students
still played with all their might just to win in their respective games. I, as
a proud member of the Yellow Cardinals, I and my teammates played hard in the
hardcourt. We fought the Green Tamaraws first. I and my teammate Paeng were
yelling to our teammates to get down on defense immediately and don’t foul too
much. For this reason, we were scolded by the committee for shouting too much.
Green Tamaraws were already ahead in the game. But we still managed to get back
in the game and play with all our might. We were officially back in the game.
Our team was trailing more than 15 points at the end of the first half. But it
went down at the 2nd half. Even though the lead went down, we still
won the game. After we fought them, we fought the Blue Falcons. They are big,
tall and athletic. We know that we are the underdogs, but we still fight even
it was very hard. Of course we lost the game. Because they were great and
experienced players than us. But we still fight with whole heart and head high.
After the basketball games were finished we watched different sports events in
the school.
